Shipping

For any questions please contact us by emailing Seaver Vineyards or by calling 707-709-8314.

You must be at least 21 years of age to order and receive wine from Seaver Vineyards. By law, someone over the age of 21 years old must be available to sign for the delivery of your order when it arrives.

We currently have licenses to ship wine directly to the following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NV, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, and WI.  If you live in a state other than what’s listed here, we ask that you use the shipping address of a relative, friend, or wine storage facility within a state we are allowed to ship to.

UPS is Seaver Vineyards carrier of choice, although we also have the ability to ship your wine via FedEx, when requested.  We offer Ground, 3- Day Select, 2-Day Air, and Overnight shipping options. Please note that because of insurance restrictions, we are not able to ship using your personal or business UPS account. Our shipping prices include packaging materials. During the winter and summer months, weather conditions and longer delivery times can often result in the spoilage of your order so we try to avoid shipping then. Additionally, should you live in a very cold or warm state, expedited delivery options tend to be worth the added expense in order to protect your investment.

You will be notified by email when your wines are shipped and will receive a tracking number so you can monitor the progress of your order. In an effort to protect your wine, please be aware that your order may be held for ideal weather and shipping conditions and we will communicate with you directly should we hold your order. Please note that if the carrier is unable to deliver your order after three attempts, your wine will be sent back to us. In the event that happens, we will charge your card for the return fee and the cost to reship your order should you like us to reship.

Due to ever changing direct-shipping laws and regulations, the list of states that we ship to may change at any time. All wines are sold in California and title passes to the buyer in California. We will arrange for shipment on behalf of the buyer, to an address specified by the buyer, provided that in our sole discretion we believe that such shipment will not subject us to the risk of any sort of legal action or other harm. If a buyer lives in a state where the direct shipment of wine may violate the law, we will contact the buyer to discuss shipping options, which options may include provision of an alternative shipping address in a state where the direct shipment of wines to consumers is permitted or storage of the wines at an acceptable third-party storage facility.

Returns

We strive to provide our customers with the highest quality products and service. Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us within seven days of the date of your order for customer care assistance.

All wines sold are maintained at optimum conditions. We consider wine to be out of our control once it has been handed over to the shipper and we cannot be responsible for improper storage after it has been delivered. Therefore, once your wine order has been picked up by the common carrier for delivery, the wine becomes your responsibility. We are not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. We also cannot accept returns for the following reasons: wines that do not coincide with personal tastes, wines that have been adversely affected by customer storage, and wines that have been otherwise damaged as a result of any other adverse condition occurring while the wines were in the your care.

If wine is shipped back, we will refund your credit card for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling once it is received. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges.
